Travel
CAN/AM's home base for the camp will be the Lifeguard Arena in Henderson, practice home of the AHL Silver Knights. The Lifeguard Arena is about a 20 minute drive from the Strip.
Arrival and Departure Time
Camp Registration will be at the rink Thursday afternoon at 1:00PM. The Camp Banquet and Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday followed by a Sunday morning final skate. You can plan on leaving Las Vegas by Sunday early afternoon.
Check-in & Opening Ceremony
At Registration you will receive your daily schedule, your personalized practice jersey, matching socks, and a CAN/AM memento. Your coaches will be there to introduce themselves, speak about the curriculum for the week, and answer any of your questions. After the staff introductions, it will be your turn to take 30 seconds to introduce yourself! After Registration and Orientation, all campers and staff will head over to their locker rooms and get ready for their first ice session! A Meet and Greet will follow the first ice time on Thursday.
Border Crossing
US and Canadian citizens traveling across border lines by land are required to present one of the travel documents listed below.

- Passport Card (US citizens only)
- Enhanced Driver´s Licence/Enhanced Identification Card
- NEXUS
- FAST/Express
- SENTRI card
U.S. and Canadian children under the age of 16 will be able to present the original or copy of their birth certificates, or other proof of citizenship such as a naturalization certificate or citizenship card.
