CAN/AM has selected a unique group of professional teachers that represent the BEST in the sport. The teachers and coaches introduced below are the foundation of the CAN/AM program. Their varied backgrounds reflect the philosophy of CAN/AM. A winning combination…the best teachers and coaches in North America.

Nick Vitucc
i - Program Director
Nick has over 30 years of Professional Hockey experience. Nick played goal at the OHL, AHL, IHL and ECHL levels and spent 2 season under contract with the NHL’s St. Louis Blues organization. Nick’s record setting career includes over 500 professional games played, 4 ECHL Playoff Championships, 2 ECHL Playoff MVP awards, Numerous All-Star nominations and induction into the ECHL Hall of Fame as a member of the inaugural class in 2008.

Upon his retirement Nick transitioned into the Coaching ranks of Professional Hockey where he served as Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations for the ECHL’s Toledo Storm and Toledo Walleye organizations. Nick was voted the ECHL’s Coach of the Year in 2004. Nick also was an Assistant Coach for the AHL’s Portland Pirates and is currently a Professional Scout with the NHL’s New Jersey Devils.

Brodie Barrick

Brodie is entering his 3rd year as a student-athlete on the Ryerson Rams Men's Hockey Team. He started his hockey career by playing minor hockey for the Welland Tigers. After being drafted in the 7th Round of the 2010 Ontario Hockey League Draft by the Sarnia Sting, he played a season of U18 for the Pittsburgh Hornets in the Tier 1 Elite League. Following that, Brodie played one season in the CCHL for the Carleton Place Canadians before making it to the OHL where he played 2 seasons for the Sting. To round out his Junior Hockey Career, Brodie travelled out east to play for the Summerside Western Capitals in the MHL.
