Didn’t get to play enough hockey this winter? Introducing the brand-new CAN/AM Hockey Summer Series of tournaments! The CAN/AM experience our customers have grown to love is now available 12 months a year! Choose from two distinct levels of competition: elite or travel. The Elite divisions will be composed of competitive AAA and AA teams while the Travel Divisions will offer competitive action for the A/B players and their teams.
All tournament games will be played at the Sports Center of Connecticut; unique, centrally located, and easily accessible from anywhere in the North East. With 9 different sports and entertainment venues on site, your team is sure to have a weekend full of unforgettable memories on and off the ice. Before, between or after your tournament games check out all the onsite entertainment: laser tag, fun-bowl, mini golf, driving range, batting cages, target paintball and virtual reality.
Traveling from outside of the region? Stay at one of our partner properties only minutes from this amazing facility. These properties have been selected with your comfort in mind. The Hampton Inn Shelton, Hyatt House Shelton and Courtyard by Marriott Shelton are recently renovated, have great amenities and plenty of experience with hockey guests!

TOURNAMENT SANCTIONING
The CAN/AM Summer Series tournaments are not sanctioned by USA Hockey or Hockey Canada. As such, teams are responsible for securing their own event insurance where required and should be prepared to present proof of insurance at the tournament. Teams must also ensure that all players registered for the event are eligible to participate and capable of presenting a valid proof of age on site. Failure to meet insurance and eligibility criteria can compromise a team’s participation in an event and a forfeiture of all monies paid towards the tournament.
