Elite divisions will be composed of competitive AAA and AA teams and available by birthyear while Travel Divisions will offer competitive action for the A/B players and their teams by age category.

AT THE TOURNAMENT

We arrange your hotels, games, divisions, tournament events, and let you worry about one thing: having fun, experiencing great hockey! Last year over 1,000 teams and nearly 33,000 players, families, coaches, and friends enjoyed a CAN/AM Hockey Tournament. We want you and your team to join in on the fun!

We are committed to providing the best experience both on and off the ice, using only state of the art, first class facilities and hotels. Why settle for less when CAN/AM offers so much more!

• CAN/AM guarantees 3 Round Robin Tournament Games. Top 4 teams in each division will advance to a Semi Final game, and winners of Semis will advance to play in the Gold Medal game to determine a division champion.


• Games played at City National Arena - home of the NHL Golden Knights and the America First Center in Henderson - home of the AHL Silver Knights.


• 2024 birth dates used for divisional placement.


• 3 12-minute stop time periods.


• Player souvenir for each participant.


• 50$ credit toward any CAN/AM Hockey Camp for each tournament player, coach, and parent.


• We offer competitively placed divisions based on age, strength, geography, history, and experience.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

TEAM DEPOSIT

A non-refundable $500 deposit will be charged to your credit card when your registration is accepted. The $500 team deposit is not an extra fee. If you paid the team deposit, you can apply it to your balance or it can be divided between the families. If the team paid the $500 deposit, it can be returned to the team 30 days after the tournament is over. Refunds of team deposits paid by credit card are subject to a 5% service fee. Please contact one of our customer service representatives to discuss your options more fully.

DEADLINES

All tournament related materials are due 45 days prior to the Tournament Date.  All final balances are due 30 days prior to the Tournament Date.

CANCELLATION POLICIES AND INSURANCE

PANDEMIC CANCELLATION POLICY
Should CAN/AM Hockey be forced to cancel an event due to the pandemic, 100% of all fees paid will be credited to a future event.

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits are non-refundable. There are no refunds on payments for cancellations within 30 days of the Tournament.

TEAM RESERVATION INSURANCE
All fees and reservations may be insured against cancellation. Any reservation for which the insurance was purchased will be entitled to a full refund of all fees paid less the cost of the insurance. Click here for more information on reservation insurance.

TOURNAMENT SANCTIONING

The CAN/AM Summer Series tournaments are not sanctioned by USA Hockey or Hockey Canada.  As such, teams are responsible for securing their own event insurance where required and should be prepared to present proof of insurance at the tournament.  Teams must also ensure that all players registered for the event are eligible to participate and capable of presenting a valid proof of age on site.  Failure to meet insurance and eligibility criteria can compromise a team’s participation in an event and a forfeiture of all monies paid towards the tournament.  

HOTELS

As a condition of acceptance, all out of town teams more than 60 miles from Las Vegas must reserve rooms and stay at one of our authorized hotels. CAN/AM has secured room blocks at Las Vegas hotels for your team to choose from. Your families will make and pay for their hotel reservations right on the CAN/AM Hockey website. These rates are valid until 60 days prior to the event. Teams failing to reserve rooms at least 60 days out may see rates greater than the published rates.

All out of town teams and their members (players, parents, coaches, guests) will be required to utilize a minimum total of 20 room nights during the tournament (for example 10 rooms per night, for two nights, would result in 20 room nights during the tournament). Tournament fees are based on teams meeting this requirement. Teams failing to meet the minimum number of room nights will be charged $50 per room night short.

Prices listed above include hotel, tournament, and gate fees for the weekend. Hotel fees, taxes, and gratuity are included. Depending on hotel selection, your room will have either a queen/queen, double/double, king/sofa bed or queen/sofa. Parking, cots, and other incidentals will be the responsibility of the individual incurring these charges.
