Early Application
Our Lake Placid Challenge Cup registration for the 2026-2027 season is upon us! We are excited to host another great season of events in Lake Placid.
We will have an Early Application period for teams to indicate which weekends they would like to attend. To be among the first teams considered for an event, you must apply during the Early Application period. The teams that apply and are accepted to the Lake Placid events will also have priority access to the player invitation/player deposit and hotel portal once it opens in June.
Tournament Package pricing will be available on Friday, May 15 and will coincide with the start of our Early Application period for our Fall 2026 and January 2027 Lake Placid Challenge Cup Tournaments.
Early Application will run from May 15, 9:00am ET, through May 20, 4:00pm ET. For your team to be considered for this season’s events, complete the online form and pay the $100 Early-Application deposit*. We encourage teams to select up to three dates to increase the odds of acceptance. Please see the included charts for the weekends that match your team’s age and playing level.
Invites for specific events will start going out to teams from May 28 through June 5. Once you receive a Team Invite email for a given weekend, you will have 48 hours to confirm this Invite by submitting the $500 tournament deposit for your team. Your $100 Early Application deposit will be available in your Team Account once you confirm the Invite and submit your $500 deposit. Should you decline the Team Invite, your spot in the tournament will go to another team and you will forfeit your Early Application deposit. If your team does not receive an Invite email for a weekend that you requested, your Early Application deposit will be refunded.
Once your team has been accepted into a Challenge Cup tournament, you will be notified when your tournament portal will open to send player invitations and have families pay their player deposits.
Hotel selection will be managed through our new reservation system within the portal. Team representatives may choose their hotel after all player deposits have been submitted. Availability is live and updated in real time, allowing you to view and secure your hotel placement once all player deposits have been paid.
Hotel placement is done on a first come, first served basis. Having families accept their invites and submit their player deposits quickly will provide your team with the widest selection of hotel properties. Your hotel selection cannot be made until all families have paid their player deposits. Please note that lump sum deposits are no longer accepted for hotel placement. All teams accepted for a specific weekend during the Early Application process will receive access to the player invitation and hotel portal at the same time.
For teams that choose not to Early Apply or miss the Early Application deadline, a regular registration period will follow for any available spots in this season’s Lake Placid events. Regular registration will commence on June 22. To have priority access to the player invitation and player deposit portal, please make sure you sign up during the Early Application window.
