The per person price includes hotel, tournament, and gate fees for the weekend. Hotel fees, taxes, and gratuity are included. The per person occupancy fee is based on the number of adults and players in each room. Minors are free and do not affect occupancy. There are no additional fees for the event. Fees are in USD.

*One adult required per room.

**All non-playing minors 17 and under are free.

Minors do not affect the occupancy. Minors stay with parent(s) in existing bed space.

For teams traveling a long distance, we suggest a Thursday arrival. Select additional night during checkout process.

This Local Team Fee is for teams that live within 60 miles of the tournament location. Rates are in US funds and are tax inclusive.

As a condition of acceptance, all out of town teams more than 60 miles from Las Vegas must reserve rooms and stay at one of our authorized hotels.

Tournament Info

Welcome to the CAN/AM Challenge Cup in vibrant Las Vegas, Nevada! Get ready for the ultimate tournament experience, where excitement, hockey, and unforgettable memories await. We’re here to take care of all the details, so you can focus on what really matters – enjoying an amazing weekend of hockey and fun!

The heart of the tournament will be in the lobby of City National Arena and America First Center in Henderson. Here, you’ll find posted standings, locker room assignments, and event souvenirs, all managed by our friendly CAN/AM staff. Tournament Central is where your Team Rep will check in before the first game and receive important tournament info, along with exclusive player souvenirs.

All games will be held at City National Arena and America First Center in Henderson. Your game schedule will be available about a week before the tournament begins. All teams are guaranteed four games, starting Friday at 8:00 AM. After the round-robin games, the top four teams in each division will advance to the Sunday Medal Championship games. By Saturday night, the matchups for the medals will be set. Will your team rise to the challenge and make it to the Sunday morning Medal Games? The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal Games will wrap up by late afternoon on Sunday.

In every division, Gold, Silver, and Bronze CAN/AM Championship medals will be awarded to each player. Plus, the Gold Medal teams will receive a special Challenge Cup plaque and a first-place CAN/AM banner to proudly hang in their home arena.

Throughout the weekend, the CAN/AM staff is here to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our team is always available to guide you, answer questions, offer suggestions, and assist your players and guests. Tournament Sanctioning

The Challenge Cup is a USA Hockey sanctioned tournament. USA Hockey rules will be followed with additional CAN/AM tournament rules. Once you register, a copy of the CAN/AM rules will be available for review. US teams must provide a signed Official USA Hockey Roster 60 days prior to the tournament (some states also require a Travel Permit). Canadian teams must submit the required Travel Permit and Official Hockey Roster issued by their governing body (i.e. GTHL, OMHA, Hockey Quebec, etc). No team will be allowed to participate in the tournament without submitting this information.
