The per person price includes hotel, tournament, and gate fees for the weekend. Hotel fees, taxes, and gratuity are included. The per person occupancy fee is based on the number of adults and players in each room. Minors are free and do not affect occupancy. There are no additional fees for the event. Fees are in USD.

This Local Team Fee is for teams that live within 60 miles of the tournament location. Rates are in US funds and are tax inclusive.

As a condition of acceptance, all out of town teams more than 60 miles from Nashville must reserve rooms and stay at one of our authorized hotels. Your families will conveniently make and pay for their hotel reservations right on the CAN/AM Hockey website.

Tournament Info

Get ready for the ultimate hockey weekend at the CAN/AM Challenge Cup in exciting Nashville, Tennessee! Your tournament adventure is about to begin, and we're here to make sure it’s unforgettable. We’ve got every detail covered, so you can focus on the action and enjoy the thrill of the game!

The Tournament Headquarters will be located in the lobby of the Ford Ice Center in Antioch and Bellevue. Here, you’ll find standings, locker room assignments, souvenirs, photos, and, of course, our friendly CAN/AM Staff. Your Team Rep will check in here and receive all the tournament details, along with special player souvenirs to kick off the weekend.

Games will take place at the Ford Ice Center in Antioch and Bellevue. Your game schedule will be available about one week before the Tournament. Each team is guaranteed at least 4 games, starting bright and early on Friday at 7:00 AM. Once the round-robin games are complete, the top four teams in each division will move on to Sunday’s Medal Championship games. By Saturday evening, you’ll know if your team will be fighting for a spot in the Gold, Silver, or Bronze Medal games – the excitement builds as you head into Sunday!

Gold, Silver, and Bronze CAN/AM Championship medals will be awarded to players in all divisions, with a special Challenge Cup plaque and a Gold Medal CAN/AM banner presented to each Gold Medal-winning team to proudly display in their home arena.

Throughout the weekend, our dedicated CAN/AM Staff will be at your service – always available to guide you, answer questions, offer suggestions, and assist players and guests. Our mission is to ensure you have the most memorable hockey experience, both on and off the ice. The Challenge Cup is a professionally organized event for amateur players, and that’s why so many teams return to the CAN/AM Nashville Tournament year after year.

Tournament Sanctioning

The Challenge Cup is a USA Hockey sanctioned tournament. USA Hockey rules will be followed with additional CAN/AM tournament rules. Once you register, a copy of the CAN/AM rules will be available for review. US teams must provide a signed Official USA Hockey Roster 60 days prior to the tournament (some states also require a Travel Permit). Canadian teams must submit the required Travel Permit and Official Hockey Roster issued by their governing body (i.e. GTHL, OMHA, Hockey Quebec, etc). No team will be allowed to participate in the tournament without submitting this information.
