For tournaments, a non-refundable team deposit is required at the time of application. For individual tournament packages, a per-player deposit is required at registration. Camp payment requirements, including deposit amounts and deadlines, are provided during registration.
Final balances for tournaments are due thirty (30) days prior to the Event. Camp balances must be paid by the Event’s stated deadline. Any outstanding balances may be automatically charged to the credit card on file.
The individual completing the registration is responsible for all charges associated with the reservation, including any additional participants.
3. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND CREDITS
All deposits are non-refundable.
Tournaments
All players, guests, and coaches must subscribe to the CAN/AM package. If a team cancels its participation, no individual or team refunds will be issued. If CAN/AM Hockey cancels an Event, all fees paid will be issued as a credit toward a future Event. Credits are issued at one hundred percent (100%) of the amount paid and are valid for eighteen (18) months from the scheduled conclusion of the Event.
Camps
All camp payments are non-refundable. There are no exceptions.
Reservation Insurance
Reservation insurance may be offered for certain Events. Insurance must be purchased at the time of registration or within the specified timeframe. Insurance fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
For insured reservations, cancellations may be eligible for a refund in accordance with the terms of the insurance policy. Eligibility, timing requirements, and any applicable penalties are defined by the specific insurance coverage selected.
Processing and Fees
All refunds, credits, or payment reversals may be subject to applicable service fees, including but not limited to credit card processing fees. Refunds and credits are typically processed within thirty (30) business days following the conclusion of the Event.
Time to refund after processing a request for cancellation is a maximum of 7 days. If you have any issues with our refund policy or if your cancellation request is getting delayed, please mail us at [email protected]
Determining appropriate divisional placement
CAN/AM reserves the sole right to determine viable division placement. When formulating divisions, CAN/AM attempts to provide the best possible competitive “fit” given the pool of teams from which it can select. Fit will be determined by reviewing a team's average age, relative playing level, and past tournament history. Teams that are perceived by tournament coordinators to not “fit” (deemed too weak or too strong relative to the other participants) in a particular group or division will be refunded their entry fees and deposit. Often times, CAN/AM can foresee potential problems with accommodating certain teams up to 21 days in advance of the tournament. In these instances, we will contact the team and elaborate on the options available, in other cases, an apparently viable division could become difficult to field due to cancellations. This is a rare occurrence but it does happen from time to time. CAN/AM’s goal is to accommodate all applicants on a first come first serve basis as long as a viable division exists in terms of age and competitive level.
Merchandise
Some services on CANAMHockey.com may be governed by their individual refund policies. In all such cases the individual refund policy shall be applicable in addition to this policy unless and otherwise it is contrary to this, in which case the individual service refund policy shall supersede this policy.
Once an order is completed, no refunds can be made. In the event of customer cancellation, all monies are non-refundable. There are no exceptions.
