If you are making arrangements to fly to camp, you can choose from four airports. Plattsburgh, NY is about one hour from Lake Placid. Montreal, QC, Burlington, VT and Albany, NY are all about two hours from Lake Placid.

Arrival Time

If you are planning to utilize Superior Sedans Car Service, you will need to arrive at the Albany Airport by 12:00 noon on Sunday, the first day of your program. Remember: The Superior Sedans Car Service only provides transportation to and from the Albany Airport!  (www.superior-sedan.com - 518-378-8573)

Departure Time

For return flights, plan for a flight that leaves after 4:00 PM on Saturday, the last day of your camp.

Flying into Albany

Once you depart from the aircraft, just follow the main hallway to the exit adjacent to Airport Security.  This is where our Staff from the Car Service will meet each camper.

Staff will be holding up signs and they will also be in possession of a letter signed by our Director, printed on Camp letterhead, identifying them as agents of the Camp.

Together, you will collect your baggage and make sure you call home to let everyone know you have arrived.  After all of the campers are in, you will pack up and head to Lake Placid.

Once you have finalized your travel plans, be certain to complete the Travel Information section providing us with your itinerary.

For campers flying by themselves, check with your airlines for any additional restrictions.

Campers carrying passports, airline tickets and other important documents must lock them in the safe in the Camp Office.
