High Level Goaltending
This training program is specifically designed for the “Team Quarterback” — the player who plays a vital role in both offense and defense. Learn how to assist in breaking out of your zone, support back checkers, and direct traffic in the defensive zone. In addition to these strategic elements, you'll also receive focused individual skill development to enhance your overall performance.
Our unique goaltending program offers specialized instruction for a select group of just four goalies per group. This exclusive program combines individual skill development with situational training and in-game experience. Each goalie will receive 30 minutes of focused, daily training aimed at improving their specific skills. Afterward, they’ll join their group of high-level players for three hours of on-ice drills and scrimmages, applying what they've learned in real game situations.
Goaltending coaches will be present during all ice times, offering hands-on coaching and real-time feedback as goalies face game-like scenarios. While their training is personalized to their individual needs, goalies will also remain integrated with their high-level age group during off-ice activities, promoting camaraderie and teamwork. This combination of tailored instruction and game application ensures that each goalie receives the attention they need while staying connected to their team’s dynamic.

Saturday marks the final day of camp, and we’ll end the week with a special session of closing remarks, awards ceremonies, and check-out. After the final ice session, the camp will end with heartfelt closing remarks from our coaches and staff, reflecting on the growth, effort, and accomplishments of each camper throughout the week. It’s a time to celebrate individual progress and the bonds created within the camp community.
Following the remarks, we’ll hold an awards ceremony to honor campers for their dedication, teamwork, and achievements on and off the ice. From skill mastery to sportsmanship, the awards will highlight the standout moments of the week, giving everyone a chance to shine and receive recognition for their hard work.
Once the ceremony concludes, we’ll move into check-out, where campers will return to Northwood School to collect their belongings and say their goodbyes. It’s the perfect time to reflect on the experience and exchange contact info with new friends made during the week. We’ll ensure a smooth check-out process, so you can leave with the satisfaction of knowing you’ve had an unforgettable time at camp.
